Chaste Tree Berry (Vitex agnus-castus) has a long traditional history of being used to help balance hormonal fluctuations in mares.
A mare’s mood swings are often accompanied by irritability, signs of discomfort, erratic scenes, muscular tension and an uncooperative attitude, perhaps as a result of hormonal imbalances.

Chaste Tree Berry, like many other herbs, is believed to exert a normalizing influence on the body restoring that which is absent and constraining excessive tendencies.
Chaste tree berries support normal hormonal function, particularly in older horses and mares
Do not exceed the recommended feeding guide without consulting your veterinarian.

10g - 20g per day/500kg horse.
10g = 1 tablespoon approximately.
Allowing a mare to have 3 weeks on and 1 week off appears to provide the most beneficial results for some horses without allowing the body to build up a resistance.
